Privacy and Security Policy Statement
This Privacy and Security Policy Statement of MoodLearning Inc. describes how we collect, handle, and protect personal information when you use MoodLearning Inc. websites and services, as well as how we address online security concerns.
Personal Information
Publicly accessible MoodLearning Inc. web pages do not require visitors to share any personal information.
When you create an account or sign up for any of our learning management systems (LMS) or enterprise platforms, you may be asked to provide personal details and related data. This information is requested solely as required by your instructor, institution, content provider, or business administrator. MoodLearning Inc. does not use this information for any purpose beyond enabling these providers to deliver their services; we serve strictly as the technical back-end infrastructure provider.
Through our LMS and enterprise systems, MoodLearning Inc.. stores, processes, and maintains your personal data and uploaded materials exclusively to provide services to you on behalf of your instructors and content providers. (See also: Privacy Options with MoodLearning Inc.)
When you access MoodLearning Inc. platforms, our servers automatically record standard server log information. Similar to other online services, this includes activity records associated with your account (such as document access and modifications), client device information, IP addresses, timestamps, and referring URLs.
We do not store credit card or financial information on our servers. When payments are required for courses or services, transactions are processed directly by third-party payment gateways (such as PayPal or Google Pay). No financial data is retained on MoodLearning Inc. servers, aside from records confirming completed payment status.
When using our Quakey or KoSaKa applications, you may be prompted to enable location services. By default, MoodLearning Inc. does not retain your geolocation data. However, select features may temporarily store location coordinates and related reports on our servers for up to 10 days solely for designated purposes, such as disaster response coordination or reporting road obstructions to local authorities.
MoodLearning Inc. complies with Philippine data privacy laws and regulations (Republic Act No. 10173 / Data Privacy Act of 2012), including the obligation to notify regulatory authorities and affected data subjects of eligible data breaches within 72 hours of verification.
Cookies
Static MoodLearning Inc. pages (such as moodlearning.com) do not use tracking cookies. However, our interactive LMS and web portals utilize persistent, session-expiring cookies to maintain seamless user sessions across visits. These cookies help preserve your login state and allow us to analyze general platform usage patterns to enhance performance.
Security
Access to your LMS or business account requires credentials (username and password) to prevent unauthorized access. When authentication occurs via third-party OAuth 2.0 identity providers (e.g., Google or Facebook Login), user passwords are never received, handled, or stored on our servers.
We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, exposure, or alteration of user data. These safeguards include industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption for data in transit and multi-tiered infrastructure controls to restrict unauthorized third-party access. Additionally, we perform routine vulnerability assessments and security evaluations to identify and resolve emerging risks.
