Taft Avenue. R-Sqaure residences. Seated on a cushioned couch with a heavy, heated blanket on
my shoulders, I listened to the entirety of the audiobook short stories despite my professor’s advice to not
go through them in one sitting; however, when I am immersed in something, that immersion is difficult to
fight off and on a quiet 3:00 A.M., I finally finished all the stories. It was a comfy experience—listening
to audiobooks is boring, but the passion and love Sir. Timothy Montes brought to his storytelling
amplified the experience into something enjoyable and immersive. I would absolutely recommend this to
other students; it is a way of learning that I have never experienced before, and would love for other
students who enjoy literature to experience it as well. Additionally, I would like to give credit to our
professor who chose wonderful and quality short stories to read, as the experience would not have been
this great if the stories were not as good.

From the first story, what stood out to me instantly was Sir Tim’s passionate expression of dialogues said by the characters. Surprise, shock, anger, laughs, shouts, whispers, all conveyed evidently through the manipulation of his voice. It really elevates the mood for an audiobook about stories because, if not for this, what am I hearing? A mere podcast? Despite him saying
that he cannot portray female characters well, he has done a great job in doing so, considering the limits of a man’s deep voice. The audiobook serves as a true justification of the depths of literature by showing how stories could be talked about so powerfully and beautifully. After listening to all the audio clips, I view them as a way of remembrance to a beautiful experience, a time capsule that I can revisit anytime. An invaluable purchase!

To be honest, having an audiobook is tremendously helpful and handy for me. This is
because I could still get to listen to the stories I want to hear and not have to sit down and fully
digest a whole book that requires a lot of my attention span. I found the audiobook experience to
be interesting as it still gave me the chance to do a lot of the things, I still regularly do every day.
It also felt like our professor was still with us even though our face-to-face sessions with him have
already ended. Overall, my experience was exceptional and audiobooks are also relaxing to listen
to.

I have never listened to an audiobook before, but now that I have, I realized I've missed out on something so extraordinary. There's just something so unique about the experience — it transports you to a world that pages could never fill. As the audio starts playing soft, melodic tunes, you suddenly find yourself in the middle of a central plaza filled with the chatters from gossiping townsfolk; or perhaps you traveled to a peaceful village one Sunday morning, and you’re greeted with a timid smile of a village boy as he passes by. Unlike many who enjoy listening to such whilst doing their chores, I'd recommend allotting a specific hour of each day to invest every single drop of concentration into these audiobooks. Let your imaginations run free; let the entirety of your senses be stimulated; let your whole being fall victim to the words, to the emotions being evoked by each persona in the story. And I can assure you that once you have experienced this, there is no going back.

It gives you the opportunity to multitask which is beneficial for everyone, most specifically, College students. College students have a lot on their plate, but most of the time, our real challenge is dealing with time. Fitting everything in the time given, thus, multitasking will be a massive help. Audiobooks will give College students the chance to do so, and In this experience of mine, listening to the Audiobook has definitely given me the opportunity to multitask. Listening to an Audiobook is something that I think would keep doing and would definitely recommend to everyone specifically college students not only because it gives us the chance to multitask and we benefit from doing so, but also because it is a fascinating experience that makes us receive the story, message and emotions of literature in a different perspective.
